Otana is one of the brands of Keinia Industrial Group, which operates in the field of processing and packaging of all kinds of dried fruits and legumes, and its products are produced by Behrad Mazand Shamal Company. This group started its activity in 1361 under the name of Keina with the production of different kinds of nuts and dried fruits and since then it has been active in the field of food production and distribution. We always consider ourselves the first consumer of our products; Having two Iranian National Standard certificate for the production of pistachios and sunflower seeds, as well as operating and manufacturing licences from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, we always try to produce excellent products, both in terms of health factors and produce quality.
Products
Otana products are placed in 5 different groups and in all these groups, Otana’s effort has been to produce products with distinctive quality and various packaging. Otana’s pistachios are a handpicked selection of the best pistachios from the orchards of Kerman province, Iran. The non-use of pigmented additives, the balanced use of salt along with the special and unique processing of these pistachios has kept the natural flavour of pistachios. Also, there is another group of Otana’s pistachios called unsalted roasted pistachios, which are processed with much less salt than normal. This group of products was first produced and offered for people who cannot use salty products due to medical reasons such as high blood pressure, but due to its distinct and unique taste,It also has its own fans.
All kinds of seeds in shells are included in this group of Otana products. Shamshiri sunflower seeds and Kale Gochi Khoi are one of the most popular seeds used in Iran, and Otana has been producing and packaging the best varieties of these seeds for years. In addition to Iranian sunflower seeds, non-Iranian White Shamshiri sunflower seeds have also gained special popularity among Iranian consumers for several years. Otana offers these white, non-Iranian seeds in three flavours: salty (named #Saltina), Lemon flavour (named #Limona) and lemon-pepper flavour (named #Limonahat). The special processing method invented by Otana along with the use of the best European flavourings has created a unique taste for the two products Lemona and Limonahat. Other products offered in this product group include pumpkin seeds, watermelon seed and red watermelon seeds (Jabani). In this group of products, pumpkin seeds are also produced and sold in the form of salt-free roasts, just like the pistachio products group.
